It was the first time that we went on holiday with the camper. We have been to Lake Garda in Italy and a few nights in Austria Inssbruck. The nice thing about a motorhome trip is that you can decide where to go at the last minute.
That is what we have done. First was planned to travel to France, but due to the weather we traveled to Italy.
It is also nice that you have every comfort (TV satellite, shower, refrigerator, toilet, not to mention a comfortable bed., air conditioning and heating)
The nice thing is that you can stand without electricity, because this camper had solar panels. With the supplied GPS and the asci map we were able to visit some beautiful campsites for a good price. The advantage is also that you are not tied to one place on holiday. I recommend it to everyone to do it and experience it.

Made a nice tour along the coast of southern England and part of Wales. For us already the 4th time that we go on holiday with a bus camper. Liked it again this time. This new motorhome is fully equipped for a comfortable trip. Very nice that the dog was allowed to come along. Driving in England requires extra attention, the roads can be very narrow.

We went to Spain for two weeks over Christmas with the Weinberg E6. Top motorhome. Lovely to the sun and relax. Haffkamp has his affairs in order. They deliver quality and are available 24/7 to handle questions a la minute. For us, Haffkamp stands for a hassle-free holiday!

Rented a camper for the first time, drove it through France and the Pyrenees to Calpe in Spain at our leisure, took 7 days here and we stayed in Calpe for 17 days because I had broken my back there and when they drove back in 5 days, it was fantastic I can recommend it to everyone to rent a camper from the company Haffkamp, excellent service and everything well arranged!!!

The third time we have rented a camper and the second time at AVV. Again completely as expected. All staff very helpful and friendly. At the last change by exchanging crockery for an electric folding bike was no problem. We really liked the bike. Small but powerful. Because we have now tried 3 completely different camper layouts, it is becoming increasingly clear to us what we want to buy ourselves in a few years. However, as long as we don't have more time, renting is the best option. Cycling and a camper is an ideal combination. We do a lot of hiking and use the bicycles to see cities or to explore nature. Camping is different from camping. You mainly camp outside the caravan (seats outside and enjoy), you mainly camp inside your Camper. I think the difference is smaller in a country like Norway or Sweden, but in France and Germany you often stand next to each other with your Camper and then you stay inside. However, it is very easy to make contact with fellow Campers. We are looking forward to next year and then probably 4 weeks in the late season and we will rent it again at AVV. Probably a new layout because we are not quite sure what we want ourselves in the future.

It was our first holiday with our 11 month old daughter. It was the first time we went out with a Camper and it really went well. Installed at the destination within half an hour with child and all. We had a conversation in advance about the possibilities with a young child and we thought very nicely about where she could sleep and how we could do that and which camper is the best would be most suitable for. We found this very pleasant and good service. Shower is big enough and we also used it 2 times en route. The water from the water boiler is also really warm enough so you can easily live 2 days without the amenities of a campsite on the battery and the water in the water tank. The pull-down bed also has a surprisingly good mattress. Although it is narrow and especially not much space when you sleep there, so you have to take that into account. (our daughter slept in the fixed bed) but we found that no problem. Furthermore, fully equipped. Tip: bring an extra extension cable. The supplied 20 meters was a few times too short and we were glad we had brought an extra one.

Dear Maurice. Back home in Australia, after a wonderful holiday in your camper. The 5 weeks that we lived in it and traveled around the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and Germany was wonderful. And when we were with family with our own house, with our own bed was also very nice. We will definitely do it again next time! Want to give you all the compliments for a friendly service, And a camper without problems! We will definitely recommend you in Australia! Kind regards Hans and Corrie

For years we had the idea to go on holiday with a camper. Until now, however, this had never happened. We saw Haffkamp's offer via the internet, so we decided to call Maurice. From the first contact we had a good feeling and that has remained. Well received and excellent explanation. Because we had no experience with a camper, we deliberately stayed in the Limburg area and visited 4 campsites. Since we had no camper experience, we deliberately went to campsites that gave us a somewhat safer feeling in the after season. All in all it was a wonderful time and certainly worth repeating, but then a bit longer and further away and staying at one location for a few days. Been on the road a lot now. The real holiday feeling starts from the moment you are behind the wheel of the camper.

We have built up a rich experience with the caravan in the past. So (luxury) camping was no stranger to us. However, this was our first experience with a (very luxurious) Camper. It took some getting used to the dimensions of the camper, especially while driving and maneuvering on the campsites. The journey went via Schwarzwald, to Lugano, Lake Como and Lake Garda. The feeling of freedom was optimal. Because people travel more and more easily, and move more often, the holiday of 12 days seems to be. shortage. We would have loved to roam longer :-). All in all, we have gained a good experience, and we are going to consider buying a second-hand camper ourselves, or perhaps continuing to rent it.

For us it was the very first time to gain experience with a motorhome as well as camping and we really liked it. First a very extensive explanation of Maurice how everything works etc and then the baptism of fire behind the wheel. On the way to Normandy and Brittany along the coast. You can't really drive fast with the camper, but that doesn't matter, it also immediately gives you a holiday feeling. High behind the wheel, fantastic views of the surroundings and all your own gear right at hand. Feel like coffee, park the car and voila. In the first days it was a bit of a downgrade for us, everything very compact and maneuvering on the square centimeter in the camper, but when the sun really started to shine and we could also live outside it was great. Only parking the camper in a city or on the coast is occasionally a crime, more and more height restrictions at the (beautiful) parking spaces. We have tried camper pitches, campsites and campers at the farmer and especially the last 2 options we like the best, safer and also grass around you instead of just asphalt as with most camper places. You do need the bikes to get a little closer to your actual destination (eg city center), but they also keep you moving. During the holiday there were occasionally questions about the (dys) functioning of the motorhome, but Maurice was always immediately available for professional advice. All in all, a very nice experience of absolute freedom, always deciding last minute where we were going to spend the night, being in complete control. An absolute must and worth repeating. campsites and campers at the farmer tried and especially the last 2 options we like the best, safer and also grass around you instead of just asphalt as with most camper places. For the first time we rented a camper. Normally always with the caravan on holiday. We really liked it. Only the mobility to visit something on site is limited. The camper must come with you. Furthermore, all freedom. Two weeks is short. Due to minor repairs, we were not able to leave Gangelt until 6 p.m. on the first day. Because we had not rented any inventory and we wanted to deliver the camper properly, we had to come back on Friday, because the camper had to be back on site before 10:00 on Saturday. In the end 12 days is very short. We had very variable weather; cold, rain, a lot of stormy wind, and still a few warm days. We came to Chatel-Guyon just before Clermont-Ferrand. A nice environment. Despite its age, this motorhome drove excellently. He was very spacious inside. Cheers!

Tour France, ideal with a camper, because of the freedom. We liked it. With great support along the way (when needed) from Maurice.

Since it was our first motorhome holiday, we traveled across the Netherlands. We got an absolutely new camper and all facilities that would be built in were also present. The detailed explanation before departure helped us a lot during this first acquaintance. In conversations with other motor home owners, a clear explanation was not so obvious. Also when returning the camper, ample attention was paid to the experiences we had with the camper. Excellent service, explanation and handling!

After viewing the rental campers, we ended up with camper E5 for everything for vacation. A family with 2 children and a small dog. Because of the early booking, that saved a lot in price, but we had to drive a little further for good weather. In the end it was wonderful and peaceful to stay in Spain. What we liked was the freedom to stand where it is nice and the large single beds (which we had always converted as 1 large bed). We had only booked for 2 weeks so had to go to Spain via the toll roads. If we had more time, I recommend saving that money and renting the motorhome for a week longer. Then you can choose the beautiful route and make more stops. The cost for an overnight stay with 4 people with camper and dog were between 0 and 30 euros. Everything worked perfectly in the camper, the automatic satellite also had a perfect image as far as Spain. Next time at AVV again.

Excellent service, clear explanation. We went on winter sports to Austria with 4 people in the camper. All additional winter options ordered were present. Camper drove fine, fine the 2 swivel chairs, making spacious dining area and large garage ideal for storing (ski) gear. In short, had a wonderful holiday.

We made a trip from the south of the Netherlands via Groningen to northern Germany. Then to Sauerland and then to Luxembourg. A number of overnight stays at a campsite and a number of nights with private persons on the site. We really liked stopping in the afternoon and having a bite to eat in the camper. In addition, the stove is very nice when the temperatures outside start to drop. Driving mainly on the cruise control is very relaxed.

We did not rent a camper at AVV Recreatie, but bought a camper. This has been completed to our complete satisfaction. Minor defects were also resolved to our full satisfaction under warranty after purchase.

After 10 years of boat vacations, we made our first camper vacation at short notice, heading towards the Baltic Sea coast. Everything was great. Mobile home and service was ok. The next trip is being planned beautifully, we will be back.

It was our first time with a camper. We did this to be able to get acquainted with the comforts of a camper, for example being free and not being tied to fixed hotel times and because of our dog. To gain this experience, we stayed in the Netherlands, in the province of Friesland. It was only a week but we have already got a good impression of the pros and cons (there are more pros and cons). We liked it so much to want to travel through Austria in 2014 with a camper. We will make an appointment about this shortly.
